Can you swim in Echo Lake NH?
Echo Lake-Conway, NH: This is a great family-friendly state park for swimming and to enjoy a picnic lunch. There is a scenic trail around this 15 acre lake, which provides stunning views of Cathedral Ledge. A bathhouse and picnic tables are available for public use.
Is Echo Lake NH Open?

How much does it cost to go to Echo Lake?
Tuition – $8,400. A $2,000 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve one of our limited spaces for this program.
Why is Echo Lake closed?
Water sampling at Echo Lake has confirmed the presence of toxic algae. Echo Lake, including access to the swimming beach at Echo Lake Park, is closed until at least May 7, 2021. Toxic algae is harmful and can even be fatal when ingested.
Where is Echo Lake State Park in NH?
Several hiking trails originate in the park including a scenic trail around the lake and others which lead to Cathedral Ledge State Park where views of the Saco River Valley are spectacular. Notice: From June 7 through the end of August trail work will be conducted at the Echo Roof section of Whitehorse Ledge.
Are there state maintained trails in Echo Lake?
Red and blue markings are boundary markers and are not state maintained trails. Formed during the retreat of the last ice-age, the sheer granite faces on both Cathedral Ledge and Whitehorse Ledge are clearly visible on the left side of the road when traveling north on Route 16 through North Conway Village.
How to get to the top of Echo Lake?

From the North Side of Echo Lake you can take the Bryce Hiking Path 1.2 miles to the top of Cathedral Ledge. (**Note- There is also a 1 mile auto road off from West Side Road ( Cathedral Ledge Road) which leads to Cathedral Ledge.
Can you take a pet to Echo Lake?
Pets are permitted throughout the back trails in the Cathedral Ledge and White Horse Ledge areas only. Pets are not allowed at Echo Lake from May 1 to Oct. 31. See the NH State Parks Pets Policy for more information.
