Is the Brit School hard to get into?
It’s very competitive – if you want to attend you need to apply and then you will need to be interviewed or audition, depending on the course you would like to study. But it is one of the best school’s in the country for performing arts, so it’s definitely something to consider and learn more about.
Is the Brit school fee paying?
Do I have to pay? It is free to attend The BRIT School. However, limits on the School’s budget mean that we do need to charge for certain activities, such as non-curriculum visits and peripatetic music tuition.

The BRIT School in Croydon is free to attend and open to anyone with a passion for the arts. This year, The BRIT School hosting Virtual Open Evenings. The Post 16 event will be on Wednesday 29th September at 6pm 2021 The Key Stage 4 event will be on Thursday 14th October at 6pm 2021
When is the BRIT School going to re-open?
Whilst our initial date of re-opening was 15 th April, this is now unlikely with the ongoing updates from the Government. We will of course, update you as soon as we know more, but for now, the School will continue to provide education online and through tutorials.
Can you join the BRIT School virtual open evening?
Through videos on our website and live panels on the nights, you will get a real feel for the subjects, staff and student experience. You can join on the night without registration by clicking on the link below. Registration is encouraged so we can keep in touch with you as we may run some follow up sessions for you to join in with.
