We are Back in Bloom for 2021 The 94th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® will look much different. Festival fans need to understand that we are working and planning under a new set of rules, and will result in temporary changes for 2021.
How long is the Apple Blossom Festival?

The festival, first held in 1920, has grown from a one-day event to an eleven-day affair including a carnival, golf tournament, food fair, multiple parades, an arts and crafts fair, entertainment on a stage in Memorial Park, and other amusements.
Is the Apple Blossom carnival open?
The carnival will open at 3 p.m. on weekdays, noon on Saturdays and 1 p.m. on Sundays. Due to coronavirus restrictions, wristbands will not be available for pre-sale or during the carnival. Ride and game tickets can be purchased at the door. For more info, go to appleblossom.org.

Where to see fire trucks at Apple Blossom Festival?
Held at the Apple Blossom Mall, the Fire Truck Rodeo gives families a chance to see antique and brand new fire engines, aerial ladders, and specialty vehicles up close. Firefighters also demonstrate their driving skills as they maneuver through tightly-spaced cones to the tick of a stopwatch.
Are there restrictions on the Apple Blossom Festival?
Current statewide restrictions on indoor and outdoor gatherings limit the Festival’s ability to plan major events like parades and the Midway in Old Town Winchester. Largescale indoor events will transition outdoors under multiple tents at the Frederick County Fairgrounds.
