On June 30, 2019, support and services ended for GoAnimate for Schools. GoAnimate for Schools was built on older technology (Flash) that will no longer be supported by all major browsers beginning in 2020.
When did GoAnimate for schools come out?

In late August 2011, GoAnimate for Schools was publicly launched. GoAnimate for Schools was a school-safe version of GoAnimate featuring dedicated privacy, security, content moderation and group management features. In October 2011, a custom set of “Election 2012” characters became popular.
Is Vyond shutting down in 2020?
In December of 2019, the Legacy Video Maker will be retiring. The first phase of this process took place on August 14, 2019, when all user accounts were defaulted to Vyond Studio. The Legacy Video Maker is built on Flash, which is being retired by Adobe in 2020.

Who are the parents of the GoAnimate app?
GoAnimate is GREAT!! I am a parent as well as an ICT Coordinator for a school district. I learned about GoAnimate from my daughter who’s teacher had used it with their class. The kids used it to make animations based on books that they had read.

Where is the moderate now button on GoAnimate?
When there is content to moderate a “Moderate Now” button will appear on the very top of the “Your Home” page. Clicking on “Moderate Now” will bring you to a special screen where you can review each video, comment or message one by one and decide to approve it or not.
