The final release of tickets went on sale on 29 February 2012 at 9 am. Tickets eventually sold out during the final days before the festival. The Stone Roses were announced as the first headline act on 8 November, three weeks before the second release tickets went on sale.

On 23 April the lineup poster was updated, some new additions included Hilltop Hoods and Fun., however Mastodon disappeared from the lineup, leading to speculation they have cancelled their appearance (this speculation was officially confirmed on 24 April).
